Five-year manufacturer’s guarantee
We provide an extended manufacturer’s guarantee in addition to the statutory guarantee when you buy a John Doe product:

We’d like to assume that your John Doe item is in perfect order and that you will enjoy years of service from it. However, we provide a full five-year guarantee on our products, including the statutory guarantee – just in case.

To help us review your specific case, we would ask you to send us an e-mail indicating the problem plus pictures of the item to info@ridejohndoe.com As soon as we have received your message, we will review your claim and contact you as soon as possible to find a solution. We may need the damaged item for inspection in some cases. We will get in touch if we need you to send the item back to us. The address for returned items is:

Click here to create a DHL RMA label. If possible, please consider printing out our previous e-mail correspondence and including it with the returned goods as this will maker it easier for us to match the goods to your claim.

Glue the RMA label onto the package and take your shipment to your nearest post office or a DHL Packstation to return the goods to us free of charge.

It is really important to request a postal receipt and keep it safe at least until we have e-mailed you with confirmation that the goods have arrived safely.

Please be patient. It can take up to six working days for your shipment to be signed in at our returns centre.

 

GUARANTEE CLAIMS FROM
OUTSIDE GERMANY

Note that we cannot offer free postage for goods returned from outside Germany. We recommend that you keep your postal receipt in a safe place until we e-mail you with confirmation that your package has arrived safely at our returns centre.

Also note that we will only assume responsibility for the shipment once we have signed it in at our returns centre; we cannot be held responsible for shipments that go missing on the way. You are of course free to choose a carrier of your choice to return the goods. A highly convenient solution we recommend is to create a DHL address label online. Please return the goods to the address shown below; remember that we do not cover the costs of P&P from outside Germany.
